STINGER

STINGER a short film I wrote and directed set in Afghanistan in 1987.

Soviet troops rest up for a while after completing a mission. They share the luxury of a bottle of vodka while the youngest soldier dreams of returning home to his mother. On their return to base they stumble upon an American manufactured missile launcher.

Funded by the Northern Ireland Film and Television Commission. The film was shot in the North of Ireland and St. Petersburg.
